First Days of School

Grace started preschool yesterday! She has been so excited and it was hard for her to wait this past week until her turn came--the bigs all started a week and a half ago! When Molly started her first day of Kinder. they hugged each other goodbye as if they might never see each other again! When Molly left the car Grace said, "she's gone!" Later that day when Grace was playing out on the porch we asked her if she was playing and she said, "Yes, all alone." So now I think we will have plenty of stimulation and activity for the two girls and then they can come back together, share their adventures from the day and play together like best friends!
Abigail and Donny have had great first weeks! Donny's teacher is a friend of our from church and was also Abigail's teacher. Abby is loving 6th grade ad is in "quad pod". SHe is starting some cool intramurals next week like runners club and World Language club--she LOVES studying French and Spanish. Oh and guess who else will be studying Spanish this year?! Grace! Her preschool is having a Spanish day each week which is kinda funny because if anything this area is very French and not at all bilingual Spanish. Anyway, it is never too early to pick up a language! But very fun for Abby and Grace to be able to be "study buddies" in something given that they are 8 years apart! All three girls start dance today and Molly and Donny are also playing soccer! When you add a couple things for each child it sure adds up! Hope I can handle it! :) ~C
