Today Abigail saw the finish line for a goal she has been working on for the past 6 weeks--finishing 26.2 miles for the Manchester Kids Marathon! We are so proud of her! She stuck with it and had a great finish! Her dad is happy to have a running partner (as will be her Aunt Jody and Uncle Brad!) and she may just inspire me to give running a shot as well! Here are her final laps at the Fisher Cats Stadium. She was awarded her medal by Miss Teen New Hampshire. We were there to cheer her on! And I have to brag that the volunteers running the event remarked on her good stride and pace! Way to go!
