It's Not Easy Being Green

We're lucky to live in an area that makes it easy to be green. Recycling is very convenient and the many antique and consignment make reusing fun! I am all for the environment and conservation but my kids are taking it a bit too far. They get the message loud and clear from school to TV. They are constantly turning lights off--even if I am still in the room! I am often being scolded for wasting water. But Molly took being green to a while new level the other night when we were out to dinner. She told the server that she didn't need a straw for her drink because she had brought her own--and then she proceeded to take a used curly straw out of her little purse!
